EUTAWVILLE FLIERS AND THE ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS
PRESENTS
THE TAKE-OFF AND GROW PROGRAM

The Eutawville fliers and the Academy of Model Aeronautics are looking for young men or ladies who are interested in flying R/C airplanes. If accepted into the “TAG PROGRAM” you will be given a day of simulator and actual flying under the supervision of one of our highly skilled instructors. The day will start at 9:00 am with preflight training/aircraft familiarization and simulator flying. Once the participant has finished preliminary training the real fun will begin, flying one of our 2 trainer aircraft on a buddy system with an instructor. Lunch will be provided with more flying after eating hamburgers and hotdogs. All participants under 18 years old will be required to have a parent or legal guardian with them at all times during the day. Pictures will be taken of all participants to be used on our website. You will be given a certificate upon completion of training. The TAG program will end at 3:00 pm but you are welcome to stay as long as there are members present. If this sounds fun and you are at least 12 years old EMAIL us for an application and we hope to see you July 25th 2009.

We wish to thank Dennis Martin Sr. for donating a Trainer aircraft and accessories to the Program.

We also welcome Joel Jones owner of CJ's Hobby Shop in Lake City, SC as a Co-Sponsor and thank him for his support.

Gene took this picture of our new sign April 11, 2009. Thanks to all that assisted with this project!

The Eutawville Fliers are a group of model airplane enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the sport and safety of radio controlled aircraft.

Our goal is to promote interest in the hobby by offering a friendly environment of instruction by qualified instructors. We can start you from the beginning or brush up previously experienced pilots with a checkout program. We work in close accordance with the AMA (Academy Of Model Aeronautics Association).

Our members fly all types of aircraft ranging from small electrics  to large aircraft with Gas engines.
