Hey Dustin,
You and your dad should have hung around alittle longer, the wind was really howling after you left, took the Tribute up and about crashed it on takeoff, ugly!! ask Spencer!!!! First time for me to see a knife edge sitting in one spot!

Phillip bought up a good point, don't let your plane get to far down wind, if for some reason you lose power, you will not be able to dead stick it to the airfield. With that wind, I would have picked it up at Rock Pond Campground!!!

And the landing was ugly too!! Thank God the Tribute has metal landing struts, about two feet off the ground with about 1/4 thottle power on to land, the wind hooked me to the right, I corrected it in time for the wind to smack it down on the ground, poor landing gears was almost touching the wings, no damage to the plane!! Between Ken and myself, we have three tributes new in the box. Get them while they last!! The Tributes have so much flight surfaces and power to weight ratio is what makes them so much fun to fly, windy condition or not, plus they are pretty cheap to replace if you do crash them!!!!!!!!! Well, if you call $100 cheap!
